UNCERTAIN TIMES + SHUT DOWNS

To know me is to know my LOVE for the City That Never Sleeps, my city. This past week has us all in a weird place, a pace unknown in this town, a space of pause. As we tackle this pandemic that has affected some of my other beloved countries and cities across this globe our studios were forced to close their doors and sessions rescheduled. I’ll be honest, I feel this was a pause we all needed and my heart goes out to all the Mommies who will be delivering and nursing their newborns through this epidemic as well as all Moms trying to figure this new normal out even if for a little while longer.

I wanted to drop a note to you all that are going through to stay encouraged. Homeschooling is difficult, keeping toddlers entertained for hours in the home is HARD, and learning your teen and all their emotions is another full time job in itself but this is their Blizzard of ‘96 story, their Where Were You When… story that they get to tell in 10 and 15 years. I pray they’re filled with memories of breakfast for dinner nights, movie marathons with the entire family, stories, ticktock debuts with mom, and something dad taught me’s.

Leave cleaning for another day if you can, worry about screen time later, and enjoy your time. Take walks with your immediate families as the weather gets better, and try some new recipes. We’ll be back to our routines in no time.

New York City, like Mothers has been through hard times before but we’ve always gone THROUGH it, this will be no different.

Be Safe! Be Well! See You On the Other Side of This <3
