A NEW YORK CITY MATERNITY SESSION | LENNEAR + WARREN
As a maternity photographer I am honored to meet many mothers and their families and each has a story that leaves me moved and inspired. I met Lennear and Warren in July 2020, just as the quarantine orders were lifted here in NYC a bit and from our first conversation I knew this would be a couple that would stretch me creatively and push me to think out of the box a bit and once I got to know them, it was so much more.
For Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, Lennear shared her journey to Motherhood and her message was so moving. After a devastating pregnancy loss, Lennear and Warren decided to try for their miracle one more time and considered IVF.
There’s a saying, “If you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans” and just in true God fashion, before they began their IVF journey their rainbow baby was on his way!
To celebrate this blessing they booked their maternity session with us and it will forever have a place in my heart.
If you have ever experienced the loss of a child, my heart is with you and I’m sending you an extra bit of hugs through these inter webs. For those who struggle celebrating their rainbow babies because their angel child couldn’t stay, please know that as you love on their siblings you send an equal share to Heaven’s gates for them and they know, I pray you see their messages to you too.
Lennear and Warren I think you two are something kind of special. Thank You for allowing me to document your new special chapter. It was an honor and I look forward to what the future has in store for you three!
