A MOMMY + ME SESSION | NYC FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY
Maternity Photography is a complete JOY for me! I get to pamper expectant moms and help them savor and enjoy the miracle they are doing and celebrate that strength with beautiful images they will cherish for a years. BUT! I have found that Mommy + Me sessions have become a very close second place favorite for me.
These Motherhood sessions feel like the best gift I could ever give to a fellow Mama. As new mothers you will hear people say “Enjoy these days, they go by so fast” and as a new, exhausted mother it doesn’t really land but one day you will literally look up and the baby face is gone and this toddler is looking back at you and even faster the teen facial features start to peek through and you’ll wonder where your baby went. In these Mommy + Me sessions I get to capture these fleeting moments you’ll soon forget, forever!
When I got the opportunity to capture these moments for my childhood classmate and her little girl I couldn’t help but think of the night before she moves her into her college dorm years from now and is reliving the years it took to get them there. I imagine she’d look at the images we created in this session and remember her sweet little face and be proud of the life she helped to create and also the incredible job she’s done. These are the legacy images that warm my heart and I pray will stay with you always.
