ome stories unfold in chapters. This one began long before the silks, couture, and carefully designed sets we created together. It began with a beautiful story full faith, resiliency, and a love story that was meant to be.
After experiencing profound loss, Tinina came into the studio carrying more than dreams of motherhood. She carried grace, strength, prayer, and an unwavering trust that joy could exist again. Celebrating the arrival of her rainbow baby was not just a milestone—it was a testament to everything it took to get here.
Tinina and I first met four years ago when she accompanied her best friend to a maternity session as a supportive aunt. From the moment we connected, there was an ease—conversation flowing from life to marriage to the hopes many women quietly carry around motherhood. That initial session was joyful, and though it wasn’t her moment yet, our paths stayed gently intertwined over the years.
So when she called to share her news, the excitement was immediate and deeply felt. Planning her maternity session became an act of intention and care—one rooted in honoring both where she had been and where she was going.
This maternity session was styled in collaboration with her planner, C’est Belle Events with bold touches of red woven throughout. The color choice was intentional. Red symbolized strength, love, and life—an affirmation rather than a contrast. There’s something incredibly powerful about choosing sensuality and softness when you’re healing. We styled our Mama in couture pieces with bold pops of red — not just for drama, but as a symbol of strength and love. Every look she wore was a statement: “I’m still here. I’m still becoming. I believe my family is meant to be”
This maternity shoot celebrated not just the baby she was carrying, but the faith it took to get to this moment. It was bold. It was sacred. And it was undeniably hers.
With their Anniversary coming in they decided to come in to update their family portraits to celebrate this new chapter in their love story. We wanted to celebrate answered prayers and just the overall JOY of being new parents so we kept things light and airy to capture her new Mommy Glow.
