UMI-A PORTRAIT SERIES TO HONOR THE LEGACY OF MOTHERHOOD
If the last few years have taught me anything it is the importance of family and the stories of our parents. Recently, I have had to say goodbye to many of the elders of the village that raised my brother and I and was faced with the reality that MY parents were now “the elders”. I started documenting them now, as they are and taking note of the stories they repeat over and over and going through their old photographs (the afros were impeccable!). I see the value in this special time and would love to offer this to a select number of portrait clients to cherish as well. When was the last time you were photographed with your Mom?

A PRE-SESSION CONSULTATION- During this call we will discuss the project in detail including styling and wardrobe and I will get a bit of your family’s story.
A DOUBLE MAKEOVER SESSION: The first step to your in-studio pampering session is a luxurious make over by a professional makeup artist for 2.
YOUR PORTRAIT SESSION- We will celebrate your story with a full Candace Howe Studios portrait session experience. You will have up to 3 wardrobe options to capture everyone in their best light! No supermodel experience needed, we will guide you through all of your posing to capture your best angle.
ART WORK- There is nothing more stunning than to see and hold your artwork in your home. Included in your session fee is one (1) 7 x 10 Fine Art Print for you to enjoy long after our session wraps along with the 4 digital portraits of your selection as well as a complimentary behind the scenes video of our special day in the studio as a participant of The UMI Campaign.
PRICING
$1500
A $400 retainer fee is required to reserve your date with your balance due 48 hours ahead of your session. Installment plans are available. After you have reviewed your gallery, the option to purchase additional portraits will be available.
