THE JOURNEY WAS WORTH IT!
Many women take for granted the journey to motherhood but 1 in 8 women will painfully know the other side of that journey that requires a bit more to becoming a Mother. The IVF journey can be long and arduous with appointments and injections so when your miracle roots and you get your good news, celebrating that journey becomes just a little bit more special.
Cherelle and her husband have such gentle spirits and couldn’t stop laughing with each other during their maternity shoot with us. From the very first frame we flowed through their session with such ease learning more and more about their love story. (Sidenote: its hilarious to see who remembers the “How We Met” story best! lol)
From the first time they were introduced they became fast friends and this process clearly brought them even closer, the friendship between these two lovebirds was so special to watch. His support of her, while quiet is so strong and unmistakeable.
We wanted to honor Cherelle’s IVF journey during her session and she asked if we could incorporate all the the vials she used during her procedures to help her little miracle make their arrival and of course I said YES! Side-note: I worked in clinical medicine for over 17 years so I was more than prepared to handle them carefully while artistically.
We chose a couture gown that made her feel regal and beautiful and added a gorgeous crown to bring the vision together perfectly. She was glowing in the best way for this set!
It’s a honor to do this work for all expectant mamas and having the opportunity to create these gorgeous images after this especially beautiful journey makes my job that much more sweet! Cherelle, thank you so much for choosing us to capture this chapter for you guys I just know parenthood will be amazing for you two!
